Following a slow start to this week, garage roof rafters were finished and felt started going on. No sign of roof tiles on first three days, then things started happening on Thursday. First lot of roof tiles arrived and then the front door, dining room french windows and the two doors for the back of the garage (boiler house and log store).
I called on site on Thursday afternoon to see the front door and spoke with the roofer. He was disappointed that the tiles had only just arrived as he had been expecting them earlier on in the week, but he informed me that all being well, he should have the rear of the house almost tiled by the end of Friday. Really surprised about boiler house door and log store (see photo below). Cheryl and I walked round expecting the usual wooden doors only to find lovely UPVC ones installed instead - very impressive!
